Charles Neal, professionally known as Chvrles Vnthony, is a charismatic and lyrical wordsmith hailing from Washington, D.C., making major waves on today’s independent hip-hop scene.
His passion for music was sparked in the late ’90s, inspired by the cinematic artistry of music videos and the competitive nature of the rap “sport.” Early influences such as Scarface, Big L, 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Rakim, and Jay-Z shaped his style. Song for song, Chvrles Vnthony blends clever metaphors, intense wordplay, and raw energy, using his strengths to combine art, story, and song in perfect unison.
While rap is his lane, Chvrles’ musical taste spans across genres—including Rock, Pop, Soul, and even Classical. Outside of music, he enjoys cooking, collecting comics, drawing, exploring cartoons, conducting chemistry experiments, and studying old-world cultures through travel and research.
